If you create an account, we collect your email address and password (handled securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your password in plain text). We also store the humidor and journal data you choose to enter: cigars in your stash, tasting notes, ratings, flavor profiles, aging dates, wishlist items, and reviews.
Noir Cigar works without an account. When you're signed out, everything you log stays only on your device in a local database. When you're signed in, your stash, reviews, and wishlist sync to our secure cloud database (Supabase) so they're available across your devices.
We use Supabase for account authentication and cloud data storage, and RevenueCat to process and track the optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase described below. RevenueCat receives purchase and device information needed to verify and restore that purchase — it does not receive your humidor data, reviews, or account email.
Your data is used solely to provide the app's features: syncing your collection across devices, showing your reviews back to you, and, if you submit a cigar or piece of feedback, reviewing that submission. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Cigars you suggest for the shared Registry and feedback you send us are reviewed before any public-facing content is published. Submissions must not contain offensive, unlawful, or objectionable material — see our Terms of Service for the full policy.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud data at any time from Settings → About & Legal → Delete Account. This action is immediate and cannot be undone.
Noir Cigar is intended for tobacco consumers 21 years of age or older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.
